Weitz Funds anticipate paying year-end capital gain distributions WEITZ FUNDS
DISTRIBUTION ESTIMATES

The Weitz Funds will be paying distributions in late June. These distributions are scheduled with a record date of June 26, 2008 and an ex and payable date of June 27, 2008.

**No capital gain distributions will be paid by the Funds in June, except for the Short-Intermediate Income Fund.

At this time, the per share distributions are estimated as follows:

Value Fund	No capital gain distribution
	Ordinary income between $0.15 and $0.25

Partners Value Fund	No capital gain distribution
	Ordinary income less than $0.05

Hickory Fund	No capital gain distribution
	Ordinary income less than $0.05

Partners III Opportunity Fund	No capital gain distribution
	Ordinary income less than $0.03

Balanced Fund	No capital gain distribution
	Ordinary income less than $0.06

Nebraska Tax-Free Income Fund	No capital gain distribution
	Tax-exempt income between $0.08 and $0.11

Short-Intermediate Income Fund	Capital gain between $0.07 and $0.11
	Ordinary income between $0.10 and $0.15

Please remember that the per share amounts indicated above will change between now and June 27^th due to changes in the number of fund shares outstanding.
